EPA Sewer Ban Affects You!

Healthcare facilities have long disposed of hazardous pharmaceutical waste by flushing it down the drain or toilet. No more, says the EPA. Effective August 21, 2019, the EPA Sewer Ban will require facilities to find an alternative means of disposing RCRA hazardous pharmaceutical waste, such as through a licensed treatment facility like MERI.
