MERI is an essential business and will continue to operate during the Covid-19 outbreak. This is according to a recent government designation. Many businesses are either closing or altering employee schedules to help contain the novel coronavirus.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) issued Emergency Declaration 2020-002. It applies to businesses such as Madison Environmental Resourcing Inc. (MERI), so that it can continue to provide critical medical waste and disposal services.
A member of the Healthcare Waste Institute, MERI will actively track changes in the industry. In addition, it will continue to monitor state and federal government restrictions and guidelines to control the spread of the virus.
